On the Natural Islands, the breeding combination for Epic Single Element Natural Monsters consists of the Quad and a Double Element that has the Element of the Epic. The breeding combination for an Epic Single Element Natural/Fire/Seasonal Monster is always a Quad Element Monster and a Double Element Monster, while the breeding combination for any other Epic Monster is a Triple Element Monster and a Double Element Monster. They consist of either a Quad Element Monster and a Double Element Monster or a Triple Element Monster and a Double Element Monster. With the exceptions of Ethereal Island, Shugabush Island, and Seasonal Shanty, the breeding combinations for each Epic Monster include all 4 Elements on the Monster's Island. Unlike Rare Monsters, Epic Monsters have unique breeding combinations for each Island.

Epic Monsters, similar to their Rare counterparts are only available for breeding and buying at select times.
